I was a kid when I got my first camera. Since then and for many years, my favorite subject has been the wonders of nature: flowers, animals, and landscapes. As I grew to adulthood, I coupled my passion for photography with something new: Travelling. My attention lately moved from nature to man and his environment. Today I am a teacher of Geography and, thanks to the “Travel Manager Project” I can continue cultivating both my passions. Of course, due to having a job and a family, I can photograph only when travelling with either my students or family. This means all my shots were taken while “on the go” and usually without taking the needed time and attention that a good image requires. Yet I’d been 4 times finalist in the Travel Photographer Of the Year international competition and a number of my pictures had been selected and exhibited in art galleries in Athens and Berlin. Shall I consider it a success?
